Our Clients: Children and Adults with Special Needs
Diagnoses can be broad and generic, but individuals are unique. For people living with long-term challenges, even small moments of relief and achievement can make a big difference in quality of life.
Most of our clients receive services through Texas's CLASS waiver program. Many live with cerebral palsy, autism or traumatic brain injury, and our therapists work with dozens of other diagnoses. We also work privately with children and adults with disabilities who aren't on CLASS. Benefits our clients may see include decreased pain and aversion to touch, increased range of motion and independence, and improved mood, sleep and digestion.
Our Team
Health Care Therapies is a team of exceptional massage, music and recreational therapists who bring consistent, compassionate care into clients' homes and communities. Today we serve families in Austin and Odessa, and our team is growing across Texas.
We support both client and therapist, encouraging mutual trust and empathy in every session. Our therapists are innovative problem solvers who work alongside each client's physicians, nurses and other therapists. They're experts in their fields, not doctors: we never guess or diagnose.
Health Care Therapies was founded by Christopher Allan, LMT, MTI, in 2005 to bring skilled, positive touch to more people who need it.
